B.List
These are the rules of the Bechdel Test, a measure of female representation in film. The Bechdel Test is considered the minimum level of female portrayal needed in a film. Unfortunately, more often than not, films fail this test.
B.List explores and exposes films that do and do not pass the test and the implications of these films on society. B.List provides a detailed examination of the test’s relevance for women in modern-day Hollywood as well as across the globe in the context of the #MeToo movement.

The Idea
The name B.List draws focuses on the comparison between the terms A. List and B. List Hollywood acotrs. The title is meant to signify the way that women in Hollywood can be treated as inferior to men, both socially, creatively, and professionally. B.List also can be read as an abbreviation as “Bechdel List”.
